Welcome to a new school year! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Mrs. Piatchek (pie-check). My husband Joe and I are members of Immaculate Conception parish. Our daughter Helen is in sixth grade here at IC. She keeps us busy with soccer, basketball, and softball. Our little boy John turned five in July, he will be in kindergarten this year. He is such a happy little guy and adores his big sister. This is my 14th year teaching (11th year at IC).
This year you will have lockers! You may bring in magnets to hang pictures inside your locker, but please keep it simple. All magnets must be inside the locker, there can not be decorations on the outside. The lockers are small, so please no magnetic cups or larger items of that nature.
You will have four core teachers. I will teach Religion to my homeroom and Science, Mrs. Bade will teach Math, Ms. Ballenger will teach Language Arts, and Mrs. Davis will teach Social Studies. Assignments are posted daily in google classroom. Please be sure to check each teacher's google classroom for assignments.
Many of your school supplies are being provided for you this year! Please feel free to bring pencils of your preference in addition to the items on the supply list. Please be sure to check the uniform dress code, including out of uniform guidelines for the upcoming school year.
Relax and enjoy the rest of the summer! We are going to have a fantastic year!
Blessing, Mrs. Piatchek
